Ang Pagsisikap ni Sunshine sa Hongkong

Second year college ako nang huminto ako sa pag-aaral dahil nawalan ng trabaho ang aming ama matapos malugi’t magsara ang pinapasukan niyang pabrika. Wala siyang ipon sa bangko, ni sa kanyang alkansya man. Ang aming ina naman ay isang labandera na madalang kumita ng malaki-laki sapagkat kakaunti lamang ang nagpapalaba sa kanya. 

Halos gumuho na ang aking pangarap na maging isang guro nang mapagpasyahan ng aming mga magulang na ako ay tumigil muna sa pag-aaral. Sa halip, pinayuhan nila akong pumasok bilang kahera/saleslady sa isang malaking mall sa aming bayan. Labag man sa aking kalooban ngunit pumayag ako sa kanilang kagustuhan. Kailangan ko rin itong gawin upang may makain ang aking anim na mga kapatid.
